Ruiman Wei lived in New York City after immigrating from China with her mother. She currently attends the University of South Carolina, pursuing her studio art degree.

From childhood, she heavily invested herself into video games and cartoons such as League of Legends or various anime. She incorporates the fantasy element in these media and combines it with realism to provide an enhanced visual of storytelling. She creates illustrationsdigitally, or physical mediums such as graphite, charcoal, and alcohol markers.

Aside from drawing, she has a great passion for other art forms such as knitting, crochet, baking, throwing pottery, and sewing with advanced knowledge of all.
